OMD Deputy Director moves to School of Business

Janine Kapa has worked at the Office of Māori Development since 2005, when she was contracted to do a 'stocktake' of Māori policies, practices and strategies at Otago.  This led to the first Māori Strategic Framework (MSF) as a guiding document, and an impressive list of new projects and programmes that were rolled out throughout the University,  with the support of many staff at all three campuses.

Janine has left the OMD to take up a new role as Associate Dean Māori in the School of Business.

Although her many colleagues are sad to see her leave her OMD role, they are equally excited that she stays in the University and will continue to contribute in such a valuable way to deepening and broadening initiatives that support iwi development and the success of Otago's staff and students.

OMD wishes her every success.
